Salvation

I asked my pastor, David Hope, to lead you in a salvation prayer:

Life is not as complicated as most people think. If you are in covenant with Jesus, all you have to do is please him and everything else takes care of itself. Trust in God and make him your source of supply and by faith you can live on earth like it is in heaven.

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (for after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knowth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”(Mt 6:31-33)

Those that have entered into a blood covenant with God by being born again by the spirit of God have eternal life and can walk in health and prosper.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest proper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”(3Jn2)

Remember, God does not automatically heal and prosper you. We have to call upon his promises in the name of Jesus. Every good thing comes to us through Jesus. The only qualification to receive from the Father is that we know his Jesus. We have to have made Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Every one needs Jesus because our sins have separated us from a holy God. There is not anyone who has not told a lie or committed a sin. God, however, is holy and cannot fellowship with sin. So he sent his son, Jesus, to be a man and pay for our sins that we might have the righteousness of God.

Jesus took on our sins and by faith we can receive the exchange of his righteousness and therefore boldly enter into the throne of grace. It’s not based on what we have done but what Jesus has done for us. If you will receive Jesus, you will never have to be ashamed again, for Jesus will not be ashamed of you.

“For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.”(He 2:11)

Because of the sin of Adam, we stand condemned until we receive Jesus by faith. Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but to set us free from the condemnation we are already in. It is a free gift of God. We simply receive it by faith.

“Therefore as by the offence of the judgement came upon all men to condemnation: even so by the righteousness of one free gift upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. More over the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”(Ro 5:18-21)

If you have never received Jesus into your heart but you would like to, then pray this prayer and mean it in your heart. You will inherit eternal life and can begin walking in your inheritance by receiving provision and health on this earth in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins, come into my heart and make me brand new. Wash me clean in your precious blood. I confess you as my Lord and Savior and I will serve you all the days of my life. Jesus, thank you for saving me and I thank you that I am now a child of God and my name is written in Heaven. I thank you that I now can call upon your name for healing and provision. Help me to make you my source of supply for every area of my life.    AMEN
